Cancellation Policy
How cancellations and changes are handled, and what happens if a passenger does not appear.
How to cancel
Cancellations must be made with the reservations office by phone at +1 647-390-0006 or by email at info@achauffeur.com. A cancellation mentioned to a chauffeur is not a cancellation. Always obtain confirmation from the office.
Timing determines the charge
Charges depend on how much notice is given, the vehicle reserved and the trip type. Long-distance trips, group bookings, multi-vehicle work and trips booked for peak periods require more notice than a short local transfer, because a reserved vehicle cannot be reassigned at short notice. The applicable terms for your booking are stated in your written confirmation — read it when you receive it.
No-shows
A booking is treated as a no-show when the passenger does not appear at the agreed pickup point and does not contact the office. No-shows may be charged the full trip amount. At an airport, always call the office before leaving by any other means.
Waiting time
A waiting period is included from the agreed pickup time. Waiting beyond that period may be charged. For arrivals, the pickup time is normally set against the tracked landing time where flight tracking applies.
Flight cancellations and delays
Contact the office as soon as your flight changes. Where a trip can be re-timed it usually is. Where a flight is cancelled entirely, notify the office promptly so the booking can be cancelled or moved before charges apply.
Changes by the company
Where the company cannot perform a booking, it will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative where practicable or cancel the booking without charge. The company is not responsible for delays or service termination caused by weather, road conditions, closures, collisions, border processing or other events outside its control.
Refunds
Where a refund is due it is issued to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your card issuer or bank.
