Terms and Conditions
These terms govern private transportation services arranged through Airport Taxi Canada. Please read them before you book.
Services are provided by Achauffeur by Getlimo Inc. operating as Airport Taxi Canada (the "company"). By making a reservation you accept these terms.
1. Reservations
All trips are prearranged private hires. A reservation is confirmed only when the office issues a confirmation. Rates quoted are for the specific trip described in the request; changes to route, timing, passengers, luggage or stops may change the rate.
2. Quotes and charges
Quoted amounts reflect the details supplied at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply for extra stops, waiting time beyond the included period, additional passengers or luggage, tolls, parking, airport access fees, cleaning, and overtime where the service extends beyond the prearranged period. Gratuity is discretionary unless the written quote states otherwise.
3. Waiting time and no-shows
A waiting period applies from the agreed pickup time. For airport arrivals the pickup time is normally set against the tracked landing time where flight tracking applies. Waiting beyond the included period may be charged. If a passenger does not appear and does not contact the office, the booking may be treated as a no-show and the full trip amount charged.
Passengers who cannot locate their chauffeur must contact the office at +1 647-390-0006 before leaving the airport by any other means.
4. Cancellations
Cancellation terms are set out in the cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Passenger responsibilities
- Provide accurate addresses, flight details, passenger counts and luggage information.
- Wear seat belts and follow lawful instructions from the chauffeur.
- Carry valid travel documents for any cross-border trip.
- Supervise children and comply with child restraint requirements.
- Refrain from smoking or vaping in any vehicle.
6. Vehicles and capacity
Vehicles are assigned by class, not by make or model, and are subject to availability. Vehicles will not be loaded beyond their lawful seating or luggage capacity, and the chauffeur may decline passengers or items that would breach that limit.
7. Conduct, damage and cleaning
The chauffeur may terminate a trip where passenger conduct is unsafe, unlawful or abusive, without refund. Charges may apply for damage or soiling caused by passengers.
8. Delays and events outside the company's control
The company is not responsible for delays, missed connections, cancellations or termination of service caused by weather, road or highway conditions, closures, collisions, traffic, mechanical failure, border processing, airport operations, acts of authorities or other events outside its reasonable control.
9. Cross-border travel
Passengers are solely responsible for their travel documents, declarations and admissibility. Border wait times and officer decisions are outside the company's control. See the cross-border information page.
10. Lost property
Report lost items to the office as soon as possible. The company will make reasonable efforts to locate and return property but is not liable for items left in a vehicle.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the company's liability arising from a trip is limited to the amount paid for that trip. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Independence and trademarks
Airport Taxi Canada is an independent private transportation brand. It is not an airport authority, airport concession or official airport taxi service. Airport names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
